TAXES & INFLATION

Everything costs more these days. The failed economic policies of Washington DC have resulted in everyone paying more at the gas pump, in the grocery store, and online. Billy believes South Carolina can do more to lessen the financial burdens that hardworking families and individuals are going through. That’s why Billy voted for the largest state income tax cut in South Carolina history: $2 billion in income tax cuts and tax rebates provided to South Carolinians. But that’s not all, Billy voted to increase the state’s “rainy-day savings fund,” because as a father and businessman,  if fiscal responsibility and saving is good for his family, and good for his business…it’s good for South Carolina too. Billy commits to continue looking for ways to cut spending, raise savings, support families and stimulate economic growth.
